AI Tools Overview

Mossie includes 15 built-in AI tools, each designed for a specific teaching task. Whether you need a lesson plan, a set of quiz questions, or report card comments for an entire class, there is a dedicated tool that understands the structure and expectations.

How AI Tools Work

Every tool follows the same pattern:

  1. Choose the tool -- Select from the workspace or AI Tools menu
  2. Fill in the inputs -- Subject, grade, topic, and any other details
  3. Tap Generate -- Mossie creates a draft
  4. Review the output -- Read through the generated content
  5. Edit as needed -- All outputs are drafts, never final
  6. Save or export -- Keep it in your documents or export to PDF, Google Docs, Slides, or Forms

All Outputs Are Drafts

Mossie generates starting points, not finished products. Every output is fully editable. Review, adjust, and make it yours before using it.

AI Output Language

Every tool lets you choose the output language, independent of your UI language. If your app is in English but you need a lesson plan in Afrikaans or Spanish, select the output language when generating. Mossie supports 16+ output languages.

Context Awareness

AI tools become more useful as you add context to your workspace:

  • Knowledge Base -- Upload your curriculum standards, school policies, or vocabulary lists. When you generate a lesson plan for "Year 5 Maths," Mossie references your uploaded curriculum documents for better alignment.
  • Classroom -- Add your students and subjects. Tools like Feedback and Report Cards draw from your accumulated student notes.
  • Voice Learning -- Enable Voice Learning (Premium) so all outputs match your writing style.

The more context Mossie has, the more relevant and personalized the output.

Tips for Better Results

  1. Be specific -- "Adding fractions with unlike denominators" produces better results than "Fractions"
  2. Set the right grade level -- This calibrates vocabulary, complexity, and expectations
  3. Upload your curriculum -- Tools reference your Knowledge Base documents for alignment
  4. Enable Voice Learning -- Your outputs will sound like you, not generic AI
  5. Edit the output -- Treat generated content as a strong first draft to refine
