Activity Sheets

Create printable worksheets with multiple block types and built-in differentiation.

What You Get

A structured activity sheet composed of blocks -- each block is a different question or activity type. You can generate differentiated versions of the same sheet for students who need more support or more challenge.

Block Types

Activity sheets are built from these block types:

Block Type Description
Heading Section title or header
Text Informational paragraph or reading passage
Instructions Directions for the student
Multiple Choice Questions with answer options
True/False Statement-based true or false questions
Short Answer Questions requiring a brief written response
Open-Ended Questions requiring extended written responses
Vocabulary Match Match terms to their definitions
Cloze Test Fill-in-the-blank passages
Sorting Categorize items into groups
Labeling Label parts of a diagram or image
Word-Image Match Match words to corresponding images

Differentiation

Create Support, Core, and Challenge tiers of the same activity sheet so every student gets an appropriate level of difficulty from the same base content.

Support Tier

Adds scaffolding for students who need extra help:

  • Word banks
  • Sentence starters
  • Worked examples
  • Simplified language
  • Fewer questions

Core Tier

The standard version of the activity sheet -- appropriate for most students.

Challenge Tier

Adds complexity for students who are ready for more:

  • Extension questions
  • Analysis and evaluation tasks
  • Open-ended application problems
  • Reduced scaffolding

  • Adjust difficulty -- Edit individual blocks to fine-tune the level after generating
  • Reuse across classes -- Save activity sheets as documents and regenerate differentiated versions for different groups
