Lesson Plans¶
Create structured lesson plans aligned to your curriculum. Provide the basics -- subject, grade, topic -- and Mossie generates a complete plan with objectives, activities, timing, and differentiation.

What You Get¶
A complete lesson plan structured as slides, including:
- Learning objectives -- Clear, measurable outcomes for the lesson
- Key vocabulary -- Subject-specific terms students will encounter
- Introduction / Hook -- An engaging opening activity to capture attention
- Main activities -- Step-by-step activities with suggested timing
- Differentiation -- Three tiers of support:
- Support -- Scaffolded activities for students who need more help
- Core -- The main activity for most students
- Challenge -- Extension activities for advanced learners
- Assessment checkpoints -- How to check understanding during the lesson
- Closure activity -- A wrap-up to consolidate learning
- Required materials -- Everything you need to prepare
Slide-Based Format¶
Lesson plans are generated as slides, so you can:
- Present them directly in class
- Export to Google Slides for a presentation
- View them as a structured document
Using Your Knowledge Base¶
If you have uploaded curriculum standards or school documents to your Knowledge Base, Mossie references them when generating lesson plans. This means:
- Objectives align to your specific curriculum framework
- Activities follow your school's teaching approach
- Vocabulary matches what your school uses
Upload Your Curriculum
The biggest improvement to lesson plan quality comes from uploading your curriculum standards. Mossie uses them to align objectives and select appropriate content.
Export Options¶
| Format | Best For |
|---|---|
| Printing and filing | |
| Google Docs | Editing and sharing with colleagues |
| Google Slides | Presenting directly in class |
Tips¶
- Be specific with your topic -- "Adding fractions with unlike denominators" produces a more focused plan than "Fractions"
- Include duration -- A 30-minute lesson has a different structure than a 90-minute one
- Let Mossie suggest objectives -- If you are not sure what to target, leave objectives blank and review what Mossie proposes
- Edit the differentiation -- You know your students best; adjust the support and challenge tiers to fit your class
- Use Voice Learning -- With Voice Learning enabled, activity descriptions match your natural communication style
