Content Library

The Content Library is your resource hub for images, Canva designs, and AI-generated visuals. Everything you need for classroom materials, organized and searchable in one place.

What It Contains

  • Uploaded images -- Photos and graphics from your device
  • AI-generated images -- Visuals created by AI for your lessons
  • Canva designs -- Imported directly from your Canva account
  • Collections -- Organized groups of assets

Uploading Assets

Add images from your device to the Content Library:

  1. Open Content Library from the navigation menu
  2. Tap Upload
  3. Select images from your device
  4. Assets are uploaded and processed automatically

Automatic Analysis

When you upload an image, Mossie's AI automatically analyzes it:

  • Tagging -- Identifies objects, themes, and subjects in the image
  • Description -- Generates a text description of what the image shows

This makes searching easier later -- you can find images by what they contain, not just by filename.

Supported Formats

Common image formats are supported, including JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP.

AI Image Generation

Premium Feature

AI image generation requires a Premium subscription.

Create custom visuals when stock images do not fit your needs.

How to Generate

  1. Open Content Library
  2. Tap Generate Image
  3. Describe what you need in plain language
  4. Choose a style (realistic, illustration, etc.)
  5. Tap Generate
  6. Review the result -- regenerate or save

Tips for Better Results

  • Be specific: "A diagram showing the water cycle with labels for evaporation, condensation, and precipitation" works better than "water cycle"
  • Mention the style you want: "cartoon illustration," "realistic photograph," "simple diagram"
  • Include context: "for a Year 3 science lesson" helps the AI calibrate complexity

Mossie uses DALL-E and Flux for image generation. The AI selects the best model based on your description.

Canva Integration

Connect your Canva account to browse and use your existing designs within Mossie.

Setting Up

  1. Go to Settings > Connections
  2. Tap Connect Canva
  3. Sign in to your Canva account
  4. Grant Mossie permission to access your designs

Browsing and Importing

Once connected:

  1. Open Content Library
  2. Tap the Canva tab
  3. Browse your Canva designs
  4. Tap Import on any design to bring it into Mossie

Imported designs can be used in lesson plans, documents, and presentations.

Design Updates

Mossie detects when a Canva design has been updated since you last imported it. You will see an Update Available indicator -- tap it to re-import the latest version.

Collections

Organize your assets into collections for easy access.

Creating a Collection

  1. Open Content Library
  2. Tap Collections > New Collection
  3. Name the collection (e.g., "Year 5 Science," "Assembly Slides")
  4. Add assets by selecting them and choosing Add to Collection

Starring Favourites

Star frequently used assets to find them quickly. Starred items appear at the top of your library.

Search and Tags

Searching

Search across all assets using the search bar at the top of the Content Library. Mossie searches:

  • File names
  • AI-generated tags
  • AI-generated descriptions
  • Collection names

Filtering

Narrow results by:

  • Type -- Uploaded, AI-generated, Canva
  • Collection -- Filter by specific collection
  • Date -- When the asset was added

Using Assets in Documents

Insert Content Library assets into your documents and lesson plans:

  1. Open a document in the editor
  2. Tap Insert Image
  3. Browse or search your Content Library
  4. Tap the image to insert it
