What is Mossie?

Mossie is a context-aware AI workspace for teachers. It helps you create lesson plans, assessments, feedback, newsletters, and more -- all personalized to your school context and writing style.

How is Mossie different from ChatGPT?

Mossie knows your school. It uses your uploaded curriculum, policies, and student data to generate relevant, aligned content. It learns your writing style so outputs sound like you, not like generic AI. It organizes everything in one workspace. And it costs less than ChatGPT Plus.

Is Mossie a school system?

No. Mossie is a personal productivity tool for teachers. It is not an LMS, gradebook, or parent portal. You create content in Mossie and export it to your school's systems.

Privacy and Data

Is my data private?

Yes. Your workspace is isolated -- no other user can access your data. Mossie does not use your content for AI model training. You own your data.

Does Mossie store student information?

Mossie stores whatever you enter -- student names and your notes about them. You can use anonymous identifiers instead of real names if you prefer. You can delete individual student data or your entire account at any time.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete individual documents, notes, or students anytime. Delete your entire account in Settings -- this permanently removes all your data, files, and AI-generated content.

Features

Does Mossie work offline?

Partially. You can view existing documents offline. Voice recordings are stored locally and transcribed when you reconnect. AI generation requires an internet connection.

Does it sync across devices?

Yes. Your account syncs across web, phone, tablet, and watch. Sign in with the same account on all devices.

How do I get documents into my school's system?

Export as PDF, Google Docs, Google Slides, or Google Forms. Then upload or paste into your school's LMS or email.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets a 7-day Premium trial with full access to all features.

What is included in the free tier?

10 AI generations per month, basic export (PDF, Google Docs), limited students and reminders, and 100 MB Knowledge Base storage.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel through the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), or your account settings (web). You retain access until the end of your billing period. Your data stays accessible -- you can export before your subscription ends.

Troubleshooting

AI generation is slow or failing

Check your internet connection. Larger documents take longer to generate. Try generating smaller sections. If the problem persists, try again later -- AI services occasionally experience high demand.

Documents not syncing

Check your internet connection. Pull down to refresh on mobile. Try signing out and back in.

Voice capture not working

Ensure Mossie has microphone permission on your device. Check that your device's microphone is working. Reduce background noise for better transcription quality.
